We are a happy village cricket club based in Plaxtol, near Sevenoaks, Kent where in 2010 our 1st XI were crowned champions of the Kent County Village League Division 1, while our 2nd XI gained their second successive promotion, to Division 3. Our Sunday side plays more "social" cricket with friendlies against many local villages. Winter sees us competing strongly in the Sevenoaks Indoor Cricket League Division 1, which we won in 2009. Indoor cricket nets are held each Friday from February to April at Tonbridge School. We have a thriving Juniors Section with over 100 juniors/colts registered to the club. We run an 8 week training course every summer for boys and girls from 5-15 years and junior teams from Under 11 to Under 17 levels. Plaxtol has a small but lovely ground which has been the scene for many great games of cricket over the years. Team spirit is the key to our success, whatever the age, whatever the side, and we are all proud to play for our club. We are committed to the development of Plaxtol Cricket Club and have an active social agenda. We welcome players (old and new) together with their families at all times.
